Cleanup Day

Open studios last night culminated with a bonfire, though given the temperature it’d have been wiser to simply remain inside. Lots of incredible work was shown and seen. Even the folks that have only had two weeks to be here have been obscenely productive.

My studio has been cleared out, reminding me of the end of Brewster’s Millions (the Richard Pryor one).

Dinner tonight will be with an old friend from Minnesota and his family. Upon returning to Johnson, I’ll double check to make sure I haven’t left any iPhone charger-related products in my room, and ready myself for the 6:45 am shuttle to Burlington.

Where the Wild Things Are

Last night I decided that there needed to be one more print made before I leave Johnson. So, a 2 x 3 inch linocut was hastily put together. I had sketches for the Dead Milkmen’s I Against Osbourne, but I went with the drawing for Where the Wild Things Are from Deep Puddle Dynamics.

This evening will be the last open studio night, so the morning has been spent cleaning up a bit.

I will be on a plane home in 48 hours.
