My mother and mother-in-law took great care of me this December, and got me the gift of knives. The new Sankaku To and Komasuki took a test drive in a little piece of shina plywood.
While not thrilled with my color choices, I am happy with the blades.
An author contacted me and asked for my participation in a book. Humbled and excited, I happily accepted. The book will be a compilation of mammals in art, so I set off to add some warm-blooded, live-birth critters to my portfolio.
So far I’ve banged out a pangolin and a bat, with a wooly rhino on the way.
