A note on movies: Delivering an animation or film piece that meets the 10MB requirement is challenging Below are some tips.
-
Compress your video in the program of your choice (AfterEffects, Premiere, etc.). I recommend Quicktime H.264.
-
Reduce the width and height of the piece. 320 x 240 is about as small as you should go.
-
If your piece doesn't need audio, don't render it with an audio track. If it needs audio but it doesn't need to be in stereo, use mono.
-
If your piece doesn't need to be in color don't render it in color. 256 shades of gray take up far less space than millions of colors.
-
Edit the piece down to include only your best work. These could be key shots from a piece, or maybe a 30 second segment from a longer film.
